Mockingbyrd’s no frills rock ‘n’ roll sound elicits musical sentiment reminiscent of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck while maintaining a modern day edge similar to The Raconteurs and The Black Keys. Brought together by their desire to transcend the current rock scene by creating classically edgy, guitar-driven rock, Mockingbyrd’s frontmen Brian Bandas and guitarist Schylar Shoates began working together in July of 2010 and quickly realized their partnership must have been divinely appointed.
